Privacy Policy

Effective April 2026. RunForge, ABN 93 166 541 669, Melbourne, Australia.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it. The categories and sources are:

  • Contact form — name, email address, and company name when you submit the contact form on our website.
  • Architecture diagram request — email address when you request a free architecture review.
  • Calendly scheduling — name, email address, and any details you provide when booking a call through our Calendly widget. This data is collected and stored by Calendly directly.

We do not collect sensitive information, payment card details, or data from minors. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and provide the services you requested.
  • Send you the architecture diagram feedback you requested.
  • Schedule and manage calls booked through Calendly.
  • Improve our website and understand how visitors use it (via aggregated, anonymised analytics only — see Third-party services below).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Third-party services

Web3Forms

Our contact and architecture diagram forms are processed by Web3Forms. When you submit a form, your data is transmitted to Web3Forms servers and then forwarded to us by email. Web3Forms acts as a data processor on our behalf. Refer to the Web3Forms privacy policy for details on how they handle form submissions.

Plausible Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand site traffic. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics tool: it does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across websites or devices. All data is aggregated and anonymous. No consent banner is required.

Calendly

Our booking widget is provided by Calendly. When you use the widget, it loads in an iframe from calendly.com. Any information you enter to book a call is subject to Calendly's privacy policy. We receive the booking details (name, email, and any notes you provide) via Calendly's notification system.

4. Data security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include:

  • Using HTTPS for all data transmission between your browser and our website.
  • Limiting access to personal data to team members who need it to respond to your enquiry.
  • Using reputable, security-focused third-party processors (Web3Forms, Calendly).

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal obligations.
  • Complain about a breach of the APPs to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if we are unable to resolve your concern.

RunForge is committed to compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@runforge.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
