1.Information we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it. The categories and sources are:
- Contact form — name, email address, and company name when you submit the contact form on our website.
- Architecture diagram request — email address when you request a free architecture review.
- Architecture materials — diagrams, notes, and supporting context you choose to share after we agree the transfer path, access needs, retention expectations, and any NDA or DPA requirements.
- Calendly scheduling — name, email address, and any details you provide when booking a call through Calendly. This data is collected and stored by Calendly directly.
Do not send secrets, credentials, production tokens, payment card details, or regulated sensitive information through website forms. If sensitive architecture material is unavoidable for a review, we agree the handling path before transfer. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
2.How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide the services you requested.
- Send you upload instructions and, once you share the diagram, the review you requested.
- Schedule and manage calls booked through Calendly.
- Improve our website and understand how visitors use it (via aggregated, anonymised analytics only — see Third-party services below).
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and submitting a website form does not add you to a marketing list.
3.Third-party services
Web3Forms
Our contact and architecture diagram forms are processed by Web3Forms. When you submit a form, your form data is transmitted to Web3Forms servers and then forwarded to us by email. Architecture diagrams and supporting materials should not be attached to the website form; those are handled through the transfer path agreed with you after the initial request. We treat Web3Forms as a subprocessor for form handling and review its published privacy terms before relying on it.
- Data handled
- Website form fields and email forwarding
- Review note
- Processor locations, retention, and DPA posture should be confirmed during legal review.
Plausible Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand site traffic. According to Plausible, it is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track users across websites or devices. We do not send names, email addresses, company names, messages, or diagram details as analytics event properties. On this site it is configured without cookies or advertising identifiers; any future analytics change should be reviewed before release.
- Data handled
- Aggregated website analytics events
- Review note
- Configured without personal form fields or message contents.
Calendly
Our booking widget is provided by Calendly. When you use the widget, it loads in an iframe from calendly.com. Any information you enter to book a call is subject to Calendly's privacy policy. We receive the booking details (name, email, and any notes you provide) via Calendly's notification system.
- Data handled
- Booking details entered into Calendly
- Review note
- Calendly terms apply when you book or open the embedded widget.
4.Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. These steps include:
- Using HTTPS for all data transmission between your browser and our website.
- Limiting access to personal data to team members who need it to respond to your enquiry.
- Reviewing third-party processors before use and limiting what website forms are allowed to collect.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiry data is typically retained for up to 24 months. You may request deletion at any time.
If we suspect a data breach involving personal information, we assess the incident, take steps to reduce harm, and notify affected individuals and regulators where required by the Privacy Act and Notifiable Data Breaches scheme. Architecture materials are handled only after we agree the transfer path, access, retention, and deletion expectations with you.
5.Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or out-of-date information.
- Request deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal obligations.
- Complain about a breach of the APPs to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) if we are unable to resolve your concern.
RunForge is committed to compliance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@runforge.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
6.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
